Dr. Alex Long

Dr. Long was born and raised near Milwaukee, WI and moved to sunny Arizona to pursue his degree in dental medicine. After college, Dr. Long moved back to Wisconsin to start a career practicing alongside Dr. Wyn Steckbauer in Oshkosh, WI. He has since established himself as a local favorite dentist in Appleton, WI and is the primary practicing dentist at Fox Run Dental. 

Dentistry is a passion for Dr. Long and he ensures that each and every patient receives the best dental care available. He is committed to continuing education and strives to take courses throughout the year to improve his skills and expand the services he provides.

When Dr. Long is not at the office, he enjoys traveling with his wife, who is also a dentist, just about anywhere even if it’s for a long weekend. He also loves spending time with his family, attending Wisconsin sporting events and simply being outdoors in his deer stand.

McKenna

McKenna is a highly detailed Dental Hygienist with experience in all areas of the dental office. She enjoys educating her patients about treatment in-office and providing tools they can use at home to improve their oral health. In addition she loves building relationships with her patients to provide a positive and unique experience. Her calm, gentle manner and attention to detail is appreciated by patients.

McKenna graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from UW- La Crosse then received her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene from NTC in Wausau, WI. In her free time, she enjoys walking her 2 dogs spending time with her cat and horse. She has been showing horses for 15 years! When not with her animals you'll find her watching Packer games, playing volleyball or boating with her family and friends. 

Hannah

Meet Hannah, one of Fox Run Dental's licensed Dental Hygienists.  Over a decade, throughout her career, Hannah has built strong relationships with her patients, earning their trust and confidence through her professionalism and genuine concern for their oral health. She understands the significance of patient education and strives to empower individuals to take an active role in maintaining their dental well-being.
Hannah spent many of her early career years in Madison where she additionally helped nanny for her young neice. Hannah loves kids and treats yours like she would her own family. 
With her wealth of experience and unwavering dedication to dental excellence, Hannah positively impacts the lives of our patients by contributing to healthier smiles and overall well-being. Hannah also has a specific drive to assist patients with sleep disorders as well. Overall, her commitment to the dental profession and all it encompassses reflects a true passion for making a difference in the lives of those she serves.

Ruth

Meet Ruth, a passionate Dental Assistant from Chicago who loves to travel. 

Ruth is exactly one of the indivduals you want by your side throughout your dental visits at Fox Run Dental. She not only has had a lifelong passion for the dental field, she loves to travel and is an avid skiier. Ruth loves talking about vaccations, travel, and all things outdoors. Fun fact, when not chairside along Dr. Long you may see Ruth at the Appleton Airport as she works there periodically to keep her close to her passion of travel. 
Ruth strives to create and maintain a comfortable, calm, and welcoming environment for her patients understanding that dental fear and anxiety is often a barrier for patients dental health. Ruth is excited to meet you at your upcoming visit and making the dental chair a place you look forward to visiting. 

Tina

Tina is one of our highly skilled dental assistants born and raised in Appleton, WI. She has not only assisted in general dentistry, but pediatrics and oral surgery as well. 
Tina took an interest to the dental field at a young age when she was told she needed a lot of dental work done. Through these visits dental fear was created and Tina later realized it didn't have to be this way. She learned through proper education about our oral health, fear should not have to be a barrier to treatment or prevention. 

Upon graduating from NWTC's Dental Assistant program, Tina began her passion for educating people on their oral health and treating patient needs at ease so their health needs are met.
Tina enjoys time outdoors in the summer, loves hiking and spending time with her husband and two children.
